Mohamed Salah Offers Apology to Teammates, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has revealed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the team following the fallout from his public comments.

Salah was left out from a vital match following making accusations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“Salah is an individual and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘Should anyone feel slighted, I apologise.’”
The head coach has chosen not to disclose on whether he got an explanation from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
Jones insisted that the team's response stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and it was business as usual,” the midfielder explained.
Jones also noted that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I understand there are different methods you can express yourself,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just be on the bench, then I think that’s more of an issue.”
Positive Results
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the period after the initial controversy. The player is convinced the forward's comments were not designed to harm the team.
“If passion has boiled over, it’s always been from a desire to win,” Jones concluded. “That chapter is closed and we’re gelling well as a team, playing well and starting to win games.”
