Anthony Joshua prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for next month's boxing match.
Former two time world title holder Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a composed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather attacked former Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British rival Fury - and declined a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Serious Opponent
Despite saying he intends to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice continues to be one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28-year-old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
